Meet Blake and Amanda
We are Blake and Amanda Throgmartin, and we are thrilled to welcome you to our digital dance floor. Square dancing is our greatest passion. We created this space to share the joy, music, and community of this timeless dance style with you. Whether you are a seasoned pro or have never stepped foot on a dance floor, you've found the perfect place to start your next adventure.
Double The Fun On The Dance Floor
We specialize in bringing people together through motion, offering a dynamic mix of styles to keep everyone moving and smiling:
- Mainstream: A universally recognized level of modern western square dancing. Mainstream is built upon basic skills, it features a core list of calls that enable dancers to enjoy club-level participation and dance seamlessly with others anywhere in the world.
- Plus: The next level of square dancing after Mainstream, introducing additional calls and more complex variations. It builds on your foundational skills by challenging dancers to execute familiar moves from non-standard formations.
- Non-Stop Energy: Amanda keeps the party going by teaching fun line dances between every single square dance "tip" (the dance segment).
